GARC’s Final Portuguese and Spanish Newsletters

It is with sadness that we announce that the September 2017 issue is the last issue of the GARC newsletter that will be translated into Portuguese and Spanish.

After careful consideration, GARC has decided to focus our support on countries in Africa and Asia as we move towards the global goal of elimination of human rabies by 2030.

We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all of our translators who have voluntarily translated the newsletter stories with such care and attention over the years. In particular, we'd like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our Portuguese translators, Helena de Carvalho Bautista and especially Phyllis Romijn, as well as our Spanish translators from Translators without Borders and especially Daniella Helguera.

We are sorry that we are unable to continue support of the newsletter in as many languages as previously, but it will be still be available in English and French. After this issue, anyone receiving the Spanish or Portuguese newsletter will be added to the English newsletter mailing list. You can always update your information and language preferences using this link.
