Where we work

The Global Alliance for Rabies Control (GARC) works with governments and organisations to help them assess the rabies situation in their countries, and determine priorities to move towards rabies elimination. It provides capacity building to develop professional skills and knowledge to effectively deliver rabies elimination programmes.

GARC works through regional technical networks to bring neighbouring countries together to share successes and challenges, learn about new tools and build cooperation to end this transboundary disease.

You can also see where we work within a region by selecting a specific network - ARACON (Asian Rabies Control Network), MERACON (Middle East, Eastern Europe, Central Asia and North Africa Rabies Control Network), and PARACON (Pan-African Rabies Control Network).
