For the fifth year in a row, The BIG FIX Uganda will be providing free rabies vaccinations, deworming, and spay/neuter surgeries at Pabbo Town Council and Jengari in Amuru District in celebration of World Rabies Day, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Dog washing and grooming stations will also be available.  We expect to provide more than 1,000 rabies vaccinations again on this one day.

We celebrate World Rabies Day at this location as a result of the very serious rabies outbreaks that have occurred historically in this area.  We thank the Amuru District local government for their wonderful cooperation and partnership in providing these services to the community.

If bringing your dog, please use a safe neck restraint such as a piece of rope.  Please do not use wire or chains as these can be dangerous to your dog.  When you arrive at the vaccination site, please follow the instructions of our field educators so we keep the day safe for all animals and guardians.

If seeking spay/neuter surgery, please report to the surgery station first and do not feed your dog on the 28th before coming to the surgery site.
