World Rabies Day celebrations were observed in the Church of South India, Ecological concerns of
CSI Erode Salem Diocese, during the eve of World Rabies Day 28th September2024.
Awareness pamphlets were released and distributed to the public, School children and youth of the Churches.
Hygiene Practices were elaborated to the gathering to overcome zoonotic diseases.
Importance of administrating vaccines, following the vaccine schedule and maintaining the animal health based on observation were elaborated to the congregations.
Drawing and Quiz competitions to the School children:
Drawing and quiz competitions to the school children were created awareness about the Rabies and to overcome the Spread of zoonotic diseases. Moreover, the quiz enhanced the community involvement in eradication of rabies.
