In recognition of World Rabies Day, we are proud to announce a Free Sterilization Program for stray dogs across Sumatera Selatan region. 

This year’s initiative involves collaboration between the Food Security and Animal Husbandry Department of Sumatera Selatan Province, the Indonesia Veterinary Medicine Association (PDHI SUMSEL), and supportive corporate partners, namely Zoetis, PT Pupuk Sriwidjaya Palembang, PT Bukit Asam, Royal Canin, Sahabat Anjing Palembang, ⁠Sinarmas, ⁠Romindo, Japfa, Bank Sumsel Babel, ⁠EVO, ⁠MSD, Sampoerna Agro, and Dizamatra Powerindo. 

This joint effort aims to reduce stray dogs, prevent rabies, and promote public safety. The program is open to all communities, with veterinary professionals providing safe sterilization procedures.

Location : Veterinary Animal Hospital of Sumatera Selatan 

Sumatera Selatan is dedicated to eradicating rabies as part of its goal to become a rabies-free zone in 2028. This initiative supports Indonesia's target of eliminating rabies by 2030 and aligns with the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) standards for global rabies control.
