Memorandum of Understanding addressing the chief of Mile 14 community on the need to address it's community for the World Rabies Day Campaign on the 28th September 2024

This event aimed at seeking support of the chief of Mile 14 community for the World Rabies Day campaign organized by veterinary medicine students of the Department of Veterinary Medicine, University of Buea, in partnership with the Ministry of Livestock Fisheries and Animal Industries (MINEPIA) and the National Veterinary Association of Cameroon (NVAC). The campaign offer free rabies vaccination for pets (dogs and cats) and conduct community sensitization activities to raise awareness about rabies prevention in the community, the next day (28th September 2024).

The Chief's involvement was vital in ensuring successful community outreach, identify a suitable location to setup our stations and mobilise résidents to participate. It emphasized the benefits of collaboration for the health and well-being of the Mile 14 community.
