We are excited to introduce you to this month’s Featured Platform User, the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF), Namibia. Founded in Namibia in 1990 by Dr Laurie Marker, CCF is dedicated to saving the cheetah in the wild. CCF’s mission is to be the internationally recognized center of excellence in the conservation of cheetahs and their ecosystems.

We are excited to introduce you to this month’s Featured Platform User, Amici Cannis in Ecuador. Amici Cannis is also our first Rabies Center of Excellence in South America. Their mission is to protect and improve the lives of animals in Cotacachi and surrounding indigenous villages. Their team provides high-quality veterinary services to stray dogs and cats, companion animals with owners, and those who cannot afford treatment.

The theme for World Rabies Day this September is Act Now: You, Me, Community. GARC’s August Featured Platform User: Lilongwe SPCA, Malawi
This month’s featured GARC Data Platform user is Lilongwe Society for the Protection and Care of Animals (LSPCA). As a non-profit organisation based in Lilongwe, they are dedicated to veterinary care and animal welfare. To teach the community compassion for animals in Malawi, they work with the government and other partners to drive public awareness campaigns, humane education, veterinary support, and promote the enforcement of the Animal Protection Act.
