What rabies elimination work do you do?
As Founder and Managing Trustee of the Kodaikanal Society for the Protection and Care of Animals (KSPCA), she has led a decade-long community-driven rabies elimination program that has kept Kodaikanal rabies controlled for the past eight years. Her team combines large-scale sterilization, mass vaccination, education campaigns, equine welfare, and surveillance and hotspot identification — protecting thousands of animals each year while preventing human rabies cases. This sustainable and replicable model shows how dedicated, humane action can make rabies-free communities a reality.
