What rabies elimination work do you do?
The Faculty of Veterinary Science at Chulalongkorn University leads a student-powered rabies elimination program built on vaccination, sustained population control via sterilization, and targeted education, with students delivering field operations under veterinarian mentorship. These initiatives include integrated pop-up clinics, public campaigns, and partnerships with municipal governments, reaching both urban and provincial communities. Under the supervision of Mrs. Morakot Nuntapaitoon, Assistant Dean for Public Relations & Corporate Image, the program transforms student training into real-world impact, advancing Thailand’s goal of zero human deaths from dog-mediated rabies.
