What rabies elimination work do you do?
For the past 3.5 years, Krystina has led the Ukraine War Animals Relief Fund’s frontline campaign to sterilize, vaccinate, and microchip stray and abandoned animals in Ukraine’s conflict zones, as featured in the 2024 documentary War Tails. By coordinating across organizations and maximizing resources, she has embodied the “Act Now: You, Me, Community” theme in mitigating this public health crisis. Her transparency and dedication have also encouraged residents to report strays for treatment, thus strengthening local surveillance and control efforts.
