In alignment with the 2025 World Rabies Day theme, Act Now: You, Me, Community, the students of School of Public Health, AIIMS Raipur will stage a Nukkad Natak (street play) to create awareness in the community. The play will portray realistic scenarios of dog bites and community responses, emphasizing how individuals (“You”), leaders and actors (“Us”), and the larger community must work together to prevent and eliminate rabies.

Through engaging storytelling, drama, and interaction with the audience, the event will deliver critical messages on wound washing, seeking prompt post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP), dog vaccination, and collective responsibility. It underscores that rabies elimination is not just a medical or veterinary task, but a communal mission — a mission that gains strength and power when we all act together.
