The Ministry of Agriculture and the Yunlin County Government jointly hosted the main event for the 2025 “World Rabies Day” on September 21, 2025, held grandly at the Green Tunnel in Gukeng Township, Yunlin County. Centered around the Global Alliance for Rabies Control (GARC) annual theme, “Act Now: You, Me, Community,” this event emphasized that rabies prevention requires not only government efforts but also active participation from all citizens. It highlighted the importance of community involvement in building a protective health network for both humans and animals---ONE HEALTH.
