Mahila Atma Nirbharta Kendra along with FAIRMED Nepal under the Sindhupalchowk Integrated Health Project has implemented different programs related to Neglected Tropical Diseases and Maternal Newborn Health in 6 different rural/municipalities of Sindhupalchowk district. As a Project Coordinator, on the occasion of World Rabies Day, different awareness programs targeting different groups have been planned. The main events hold school health programs teaching students about rabies, its symptoms, and prevention measures, strengthening health mother groups, and conducting programs in coordination with health workers and palikas respectively. Besides awareness raising through organizations' social media handles has also been scheduled.
