Rabies vaccination education and awareness will be conducted in Mnquma local municipality, Eastern Cape, South Africa.
The week will start with a Rabies information day at a primary school (SAVA CVC as well as officials from local the Departments of Agriculture, Health and Police services and community leaders will be in attendance).
The reset of the week will comprise of systematic door-to-door vaccination of dogs and cats, coupled with education and awareness at schools, local clinics and community gatherings.
