Rabies vaccination education and awareness will be conducted in Bizana local municipality, Eastern Cape, South Africa.
The week will start with systematic door-to-door vaccination of dogs and cats, coupled with education and awareness at schools, local clinics and community gatherings.
The week will end with two back-to-back rabies information days and sterilisation campaigns (SAVA CVC as well as officials from local the Departments of Agriculture, Health, SPCA and community leaders will be in attendance).
