Rabies vaccination day at the Matsiepane village, located 40 km from the SA-Botswana boarder gate (Skilpadhek).
The area is near mountains with bushes having a range of wildlife including jackals.
The place is rural and most of the community is economically challenged.
The vaccination events will be carried out in collaboration of the DARD (Dept of Agric and Rural Dev) and NWU (North West Uni).
The officials will be identified by the branded vehicle (NWU) and the DARD burners
There will be experienced AHTs helping out the community people and their pets and there will also be energetic NWU animal health final year students and their experienced AHT supervisors.
All public is welcomed to bring forward their cats and dogs for rabies vaccinations.
