For this year WRD, Matamba Veterinary Clinic has prepared a series of events towards Worldwide Commemoration of Rabies Day 2025 across Katavi Region East Africa Tanzania. A series of events for one Week which will end on 28th September will include;
A. Rabies Vaccination
B. Public Awareness of Rabies and the Importance of Rabies vaccination through Public Social Media, Radio sessions, Bulk SMS, Public advertisements and 101 awareness for clients attending our clinic Premises.
C. Deworming
After a One week series of events we expect to have a Database that will help to locate the owners of Pets and their details that will help to follow up and extend other services like Neutering programs aiming at controlling population.
We are committed in contributing efforts to eliminate human Death from Dog Rabies by 2030 with other stakeholders.
