Rabies continues to remain a major public health concern in developing countries, and awareness at an early age plays a crucial role in its prevention. Recognizing this need, like every years, the Department of Veterinary Microbiology, College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Kamdhenu University, Anand is organizing an interactive awareness programme at Angel Education Center.

The programme is specially designed for children aged 1 to 5 years, focusing on simple and engaging methods to help them understand the importance of avoiding contact with stray animals, immediate wound washing, and reporting animal bites to parents/guardians. Interactive sessions with visuals, activities, and role-play will be conducted to make the learning enjoyable and impactful for the young participants.

This initiative aims to instill life-saving knowledge at an early age and contribute to the broader goal of rabies prevention in the community.
