St. Roch Animal Bite Center is providing free rabies Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) to high-risk individuals such as healthcare workers, animal vaccinators, and veterinarians. By protecting those most exposed, we are strengthening rabies prevention and moving closer to a rabies-free future.

In celebration of World Rabies Day (September 28), St. Roch Animal Bite Center has been partnering with various Local Government Units (LGUs), NGOs, and the Department of Health (DOH) in conducting rabies-related activities and campaigns.

These activities include free dog and cat vaccination drives, free rabies Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) for healthcare workers, animal vaccinators, and veterinarians, and the provision of free Rabies Immunoglobulin (RIG) for Category III patients through DOH support.

We have been reaching out to communities through awareness talks, IEC material distribution, and volunteer led initiatives, each tailored to local needs, to strengthen prevention and save lives.

Together—you, me, and our community—we are protecting families and moving closer to a rabies-free future.
