In 2023 World Rabies Day Tanzania Animals Protection Organization {TAPO} will continue it is rabies vaccination campaign in the Kahama District and extend to Shinyanga municipal by doing the free rabies mass vaccination at the very high population areas of dogs and cats with poor welfare. This aims to initiate the introduction of protecting and identify the disease and treating them and basic dog care for 60 days.
2023 World Rabies Day with theme “All for 1, One Health for All” , This year’s theme adds the additional layer of highlighting the need for collaboration, the importance of equality, and strengthening overall health systems by ensuring that One Health is not for a select few but is rather something that should be available to everyone and we are expecting all wards areas where no dog is needlessly culled because of fear of rabies with benefit from mass and house to house dog vaccination in the following ways.
