The rabies vaccination activities on this day will be targeted on dogs and cats.
There will be multiple vaccination stations throughout the town including the private vet clinics in town where the pet owners will access services.
There will also be a mobile clinic driving around, pet owner will be able to access services from it.
Vaccination certificates will be issued as proof of vaccination, however the pets that already have their animal health card should bring those cards along so that they can be signed and rabies vaccination stick be put as proof of vaccination.
The services will be delivered by the state vets and Animal health techs and interns from Ramotshere Moiloa state vet office, the Animal health techs from the nearby state vet offices, the local private vets and NW university animal health final year students with their supervisor.
The service officials and stations will be identified by the Dept of Agric (Veterinary services) logo and burners and branded vehicles.
