Awareness to Action: Community Education for Rabies Prevention
This initiative is dedicated to transforming awareness into meaningful action by strengthening rabies prevention through education,research and outreach. It focuses on organizing lectures and interactive sessions across higher education institutions, hostels, and community spaces to build knowledge and sensitivity about rabies. Special attention is given to motivating community participation and engaging with people at grassroots levels, particularly in community shelters. It further aims to instill a sense of belongingness towards community animals, encouraging empathy and shared responsibility for their care. By promoting dialogue, spreading accurate information, and fostering responsible practices, the program seeks to create a collective movement where individuals become active contributors in rabies prevention, ultimately ensuring safer and healthier communities.
