In response to World Rabies Day, from September 22 th to 26th, 2025, a special rabies prevention campaign and mobile vaccination service was carried out in Lishan and Pingdeng Villages, Heping District, Taichung City. In addition, free “three-in-one” services—including rabies vaccination, microchip implantation, and neutering for dogs and cats—will continue to be provided in high-risk rabies areas. These efforts aim to increase rabies vaccination coverage among dogs and cats, reduce the number of stray animals, and ensure the health and safety of both people and animals.
