The Animal Protection and Health Inspection of New Taipei City held the “Pet Carnival” concert on September 28th at the Shenkeng Hall. Over 300 citizens and their furry companions enjoyed the musical feast together. The animal-themed classics like Chopin’s “Dog Waltz”, Saint-Saëns’ “Carnival of the Animals”, and Rossini’s “Cat Duet” were performed by the Soprano, Yu-Chen, Chen. The theme song “Doggy Planet” also premiered, with lyrics such as “I love to run and jump every day, I’ll cherish you forever and always”—perfectly capturing the simple happiness in human and pet interaction. Free pet microchip and rabies vaccination were held. As owners picnicked with their pets while enjoying the music, they also learned about animal protection acts. Annual rabies vaccinations and proper pet registration help ensure both pets and their humans remain healthy and safe.
