To mark World Rabies Day, Hsinchu City hosted the 2025 Pet Sports Festival at Beida Park on September 21. Nearly a hundred pet-loving families showed up with their furry companions, filling the park with laughter and excitement. The event featured fun pet competitions, lively magic and balloon shows, a local market, and free rabies vaccinations. Throughout the day, smiles and applause echoed across the park, creating a warm and joyful scene. With this cheerful gathering, the city hoped to spread awareness about respecting life and protecting animals - working together toward a happier, more pet-friendly Hsinchu.
