Collaborate and vaccinate - tackling the rabies dilemma together.
Since the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, the origins of viral diseases and animal-to-human transmission have become hot topics. Every year almost 60,000 people die from dog-mediated rabies – tragically children are greatly over-represented, comprising 40% of fatalities in Asia and Africa (WHO).
While the World Health Organization cites mass vaccination as the most cost-effective way to prevent rabies, there’s an additional effective tool that can help achieve a rabies-free Philippines: spaying and neutering of companion animals.
CDO Spay & Neuter Campaign in collaboration with Toyota Cagayan de Oro Inc. and City Veterinary Office- Cagayan de Oro is hosting #WorldRabiesDay Spay & Neuter event.
Salamat to all the responsible petowners who have secured their slots.
Collaborate. Vaccinate. Sterilize.
