In addition to the commemoration of the WRD, this year event will mark official launching of the Free Anti Rabies Vaccination program implements through 321 Divisional Veterinary Surgeon Offices of Sri Lanka. This year we organize the program outside the capital as an outreach program in the North-central Province at a Veterinary Division called Kekirawa. In the event, a vaccination program, dog sterilization program and a school children awareness will be conducted. THe honourable Minister in-charge also has invited and it is expected that the Chief Minister of the province also attend. Director General, Provincial Director and other top level managers also will attend the program.
