The Zimbabwe Veterinary Students Association in conjunction with VAWZ aim to vaccinate approximately 500 dogs and cats as a means of community service. By holding this event we aim to decrease the prevalence of Rabies in the domestic dog and cat population in the area, thereby decreasing the risk of disease transmission in the owners, children and people residing in the chosen area.
