The Taiwan Chief Veterinary Officer (CVO) Dr. Tu Wen-Jane (Ms) led Taiwanese veterinarian leaders took “AN OATH TO END RABIES” on the WORLD RABIES DAY 2020.

In 2020 Taiwan, the World Rabies Day was hosted by the Taoyuan City Government. On the morning of 28th September (Monday), the "Pledge to End Rabies" event was held in the “Taoyuan Sunrise Forest Park”. The Taiwan Chief Veterinary Officer (CVO) Dr. Tu Wen-Jane (Ms) led Taiwanese veterinarian leaders took “AN OATH TO END RABIES” on the WORLD RABIES DAY 2020.

In addition to free rabies vaccination, free pet microchip registration and adoption of the day, attended pet owners were invited to participate in rabies epidemic prevention activities. All attended owners and their pets collaborated with 2020's WRD promotional slogan "Rabies Ends Here" and marked the hashtag "Rabies-Ends-Here". They got the "rabies vaccine free coupons" as well as other cute gifts. Events of the day comprised:

1. Rabies knowledge breakthrough game;

2. Pet health consultation;

3. Pet knowledge Lecture;

4. Pet art co-creation  

5. Pet Owner + World Rabies Day Logo Photo Check-in Facebook.
