Mayhew Afghanistan will welcome local school children to the recently opened new Animal Birth Control Centre in Kabul. Here they will see the ABC Clinic and the kennel block where the dogs are brought for neutering. The children will learn about the TVNR programme that started in June and the on-going mass Rabies vaccination programme in Kabul now in its second year.
There will be a meet and greet with the Clinic team and some dogs and interactive sessions to learn about rabies prevention, dog bite prevention and how to behave around the street dogs.
