The data collecting tool used in Eswatini (Swaziland) does not have “dog bite“ as a stand-alone diagnosis. As such, it is most often reported as “other” diagnosis. As a result, the number of dog bites given is a gross underestimation as only one big hospital reports “dog bites”.
